This is a unique opportunity to join the Children's Services Data and Performance team to support the teams work on a range of analytical tasks covering the entirety of the local authorities’ Children's Social Care Service.
With an Integrated Children's System (ICS) data migration currently underway and scheduled for November 2021 go live, this will be a transformative year for the service with the Data and Performance team at the centre of the changes.
The Information Analyst will play a key role fulfilling the monthly internal and external performance requirements in the children and families branch, supporting the delivery of our statutory returns (Children in Need, Looked After Children and Social Workforce Returns) where necessary.

Please note that this role falls within the strategic partnership between the Isle of Wight Council and Hampshire County Council. Hampshire County Council delivers, on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council, all of its children's services functions and did so for an agreed period of five years from 1 July 2013. The original five year partnership under direction of the Secretary of State finished in 2018 but has been extended voluntarily by both local authorities for a further five years.
The management reporting line for this role is ultimately through Hampshire County Council Children's Services Director/Assistant Director and managers who take operational responsibility for children's services.
