£33,749 to £41,096 (dependent upon experience).
There is a bar at the top of Grade M1 (£37,040). Progression beyond this bar to Grade M2 (£38,133 - £41,096 per annum) will be subject to certain conditions being met including a Level 5 CIPD qualification.
Full Time (36 hours per week)
Due to the current restrictions relating to COVID-19, this post will initially be based at home. During this period, the post holder may be required to attend the Council offices from time to time.
We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Advisor to join our Human Resources Team. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, together with the other Human Resources Advisor, you will manage and be responsible for supporting and advising managers through the different employment processes and to recommend and implement improvements to the Human Resources service.
This role also oversees the core transactional function of Human Resources and providing line management, advice and support to the Human Resources Assistants.
This is a varied and interesting generalist post which includes employee relations, learning and development, projects, information management, such as Freedom of Information Requests and GDPR, projects, union consultation and management of the apprenticeship offering and levy. This is detailed further in the job description.
This is great opportunity to gain experience in a wide range of HR areas.
Some proven HR Advisor level experience within a public sector setting is essential together with team management experience.
Minimum Level 3 Foundation CIPD qualification is essential for M1.
