About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a stimulating and rewarding role.  Homewood College caters for children aged 11-16 who have social, emotional and mental health difficulties.  Due to the expansion of our NOR, we are seeking an experienced and flexible teacher of upper KS2 or KS3 to join our team.  You will primarily be teaching our new Year 7 group, but will also teach English or another subject to some groups throughout the school.

We are an attachment aware school where we get to know the students so that they trust us, with the aim that they relax and learn. The staff team use PACE (Playful, Accepting, Curious, Empathic) and each student has a personalised programme.

You will have the support of a dedicated staff team who put the needs of students at the heart of what we do.

If you are experienced, resilient, flexible and organised, this is the role for you.  Visits are warmly welcomed.  Please contact brianhoten@chb.org.uk if you would like to look around.
