Graduate Planning Officer (ADC537)
£21,074 - £23,111 pa, plus casual car user payment as necessary
We are seeking a Graduate Planning Officer to work within the Forward Planning and Development Management sections of Planning & Regulatory Services. The post-holder will alternate every six months, working within in each section.
The successful individual will be required to assist with the preparation of statutory planning documents and the development and implementation of environmental and other physical and community-based improvement projects, as well as the processing of householder and minor planning applications and associated planning matters.
Knowledge of planning policy and legislation are essential to the role. We are looking for a confident and self-motivated professional with excellent communication skills.
You will be responsible for carrying out site inspections providing planning advice to the public and writing reports. You will also be a key player in delivering a proactive planning service in the district.
