CUSTOMER SERVICES ADVISOR – FIXED TERM CONTRACT (14 Months)

We are looking for a Customer Services Advisor with great communication skills and a positive can-do attitude, to join our team.
Our Customer Services team is the first point of contact for residents and also provides administration support to other council teams.
The role will involve daily contact with residents and internal/external customers (face to face on reception, by e-mail and telephone) providing advice and guidance on a variety of service area enquiries. You will be working in a fast-paced and demanding environment, so it is important that you are well organised and resilient, can remain calm, focused and professional when under pressure. You will receive specific training that will enable you to handle a range of services but will include, Council Tax, Housing, Planning, waste and recycling.
