About the role
Sacred Heart School and Nursery is a popular and highly successful setting, situated in a rural location on the edge of the village of Wadhurst. We are seeking to appoint a responsible person to oversee the running of our after school provision, Busy Bees, for our pupils aged 2 – 11. The vacancy arises due to the retirement of our current lead practitioner who was instrumental in establishing the provision and developing the structure and scope of what is essentially an extension of the children’s experience in school and an integral part of the school community.
The successful candidate will have a genuine interest in children’s wellbeing and development and ideally will be qualified in or have experience of the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum. A willingness to be flexible and adapt quickly is essential in any school setting as is a good sense of humour and an optimistic outlook.
We offer a bright and modern working environment within a welcoming and supportive staff team. This is a term time only, part time role working Mondays to Thursday, 3.15 – 6.15pm and Fridays 3.15 – 5.15pm. Salary is competitive for this role.
