Community Advice and Support Team Supervisor
Do you have extensive housing options and homelessness experience open to a new challenge of working in a team of generic officers who;
• Deliver the housing options and homelessness service including applications processed under Part 7 Housing Act 1996 as amended by Homelessness Reduction Act 2017
• Manage the housing waiting list
• Administer claims for Housing Benefit and Council Tax Reduction
• Use discretionary funding to ensure that homes are financially sustainable
We are looking for an experienced Housing Options practitioner to work as part of a team of supervisors to guide and support officers delivering a generic service. Initially you will be offering support around housing options and homelessness, but you will receive training to deliver the full range of services to our clients.
