Salary Band £23,706 to £26,107

A generous annual leave allowance of 24 days (plus an additional 5 days depending on having Continuous Local Government Service).

The Role

We are looking for someone who shares our passion to deliver excellent service to our customers. If you are someone who can demonstrate understanding, empathy and the ability to stay calm under pressure, as well as embrace our values, then this role will suit you.

The main duties are;

• Answering customer enquires over the telephone regarding all aspects of council tax
• Responding to customer correspondence by email and letter
• Providing excellent customer service to all our customers

The Team

Our Council Team, working in partnership with Dartford Borough Council, consists of 13 Revenues Officers, 3 Team Leaders and a Manager and we deal with over 100,000 council tax properties and customers.

How to get to us: 

Sevenoaks is only half an hour from central London by train. You will be based at the Council Offices, Argyle Road, Sevenoaks, Kent.  TN13 1HG, however due to the current pandemic and current Government advice at the time of advert the role will require a combination of both remote and office based working. A free staff car park is available on site.
