Halton Borough Council’s Open Space Service is seeking to recruit seven casual workers for its front line service areas. As a casual worker within the service, you will be deployed within the Cemeteries, Parks and Streetscene sections supporting the delivery of horticultural management, grave digging and cleansing.

You will enjoy working outdoors and have an interest in the environment. A full UK driving licence is essential and previous horticultural experience or qualifications would be an advantage. Commitment and enthusiasm are the key attributes that we are looking for from applicants.

This role will entail an extensive training programme and includes a very competitive hourly rate. Casual workers will be offered work Monday to Sunday as and when work is required.
