ISEND Engagement and Participation Officer
An exciting new engagement role is available within a busy strategy and engagement team. Inclusion Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Services (ISEND) provide a range of support services for children and young people with additional needs.
We are looking for a candidate to lead the development of processes to enable the participation of children and young people and their parent carers in decision making and service planning, delivery and evaluation.
The post offers the opportunity to coordinate activities across schools, services, health and social care and the voluntary sector to engage children and young people with SEND and their families to contribute and participate in giving views, feedback and developing their own voice.
You will work collaboratively with workers across ISEND and other areas in Children's Services to share and develop best practice in participation.
The interview selection process is likely to request submission of a short video (full details if you reach the interview stage) and the interview is likely to involve a young person who has accessed SEND services.
We are interested in interviewing creative individuals who have a desire to learn more.
