Do you have the desire to work on exciting new projects to help us build safer stronger communities in North Somerset?

If so, this is a great opportunity to take on a permanent project co-ordination role within our ambitious Safer Communities Team. The role will have a focus on driving forward our multi-agency response to domestic abuse - a key priority of the work of the North Somerset Safer and Stronger Partnership. It will also support the delivery of other Safer Stronger Communities work including tackling the root causes of violence and early intervention to prevent young people from getting involved in crime in the first place.

To help us drive this work forward, we are seeking an enthusiastic, pro-active individual with excellent communication and organisational skills who can work closely with partners such as schools, police and health colleagues as well as the community to co-ordinate interventions that respond to local need.

You will need significant related work experience and experience of working in partnership and engaging with key stakeholders. You will have experience of project management and evidence of commissioning and identifying and bidding for funding.
