About the role
As the first point of contact you will be responsible for resolving basic enquiries relating to a range of services including from businesses and from members of the public. You will receive and log complaints on noise, pollution, food hygiene compliance and a wide range of environmental issues. You will produce letters and certificates for a range of purposes. You will also be responsible for ordering goods and services using our procurement system, and maintaining accurate records and systems, as well as producing and analysing reports on the data held.

About you
You will have excellent customer service skills together with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. As well as the ability to communicate effectively with a range of audiences, both verbally and in writing, you will be highly organised having the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines whilst still communicating effectively with customers and colleagues. Computer literate, you will be used to making use of Microsoft Office applications to aid your organisational and communication skills, and have experience of inputting to, maintaining and reporting on other database systems. Driven to achieve deadlines and positive outcomes, you will be open to new ideas whilst being respectful and considerate of others.
