Lead Teaching Assistant - Secondary
- 35 hours per week, term time weeks plus inset days
- Single Status Grade 6 Points 14-16 (£20,495 - £21,322 pro-rata)
- Actual Salary £16,675 - £17,348
- Fixed term to 30/04/22 (Linked to maternity cover)
- Starting Date: 19 April 2021
We are looking to appoint a Lead Teaching Assistant who is highly motivated, passionate and enthusiastic with an interest in supporting pupils’ learning. You will predominately be working in the Secondary phase (years 7-11), although you may be required to also work in our Primary phase.
You will manage the work of teaching assistants and support the induction of new staff, appraisal, training and mentoring for other teaching assistants. You will provide support for pupils and staff in order to raise standards of achievement for all pupils, to encourage pupils to become independent learners, to ensure their safety and welfare and support the inclusion or pupils in all aspects of school life.
