Parks Team Leader

We are seeking a self motivated individual to be responsible for staffed parks and play areas across the District. You will be experienced in leading a team and have a background in Horticultural maintenance. Experience of managing sub – contractors would be advantageous. You should have detailed knowledge in traditional Horticultural Techniques and hold an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Horticulture.

Duties will include managing all aspects of horticultural and play ground maintenance. The successful applicant must hold a full UK Driving Licence with a minimum of B, B+E, B1 and C and ideally be eligible to tow vehicles including category C1E. In addition you should have good verbal communication skills in order to interact with facility users in a courteous and sensitive manner, and will be prepared to work outside in all conditions when required.
