Salary Range: H8-M1 £27,741 - £39,880pa plus £1,000 welcome payment
Hours: 37 hours per week
Adult Disability Service - West
An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 Social Workers to work within the Adult Disability Service (West) based in Apsley.
The full-time posts are for social workers in the Hertsmere Adult Disability Team. One post also requires a specialist in completing assessments and support planning with adults with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder.
As a Social Worker in this multi-disciplinary setting you will be responding to those in need of social care support and taking appropriate safeguarding action as required.
We are a service motivated by and dedicated to social care intervention and community social work. Our core aim is to support people to be influential and active members of their community and promote true citizenship.
We need Social Workers that can engage with people; promoting and enabling inclusive community options as well as self-directed purchased services. We also want our Social Workers to be resilient and robust as well as imaginative and reflective.
You will be a qualified, registered Social Worker adhering to the Social Work England Professional Standards. The teams are community based and applicants will need to have a full UK driving license.
We will expect you to be ready to perform at the relevant levels within the Professional Capabilities Framework based on your experience and most importantly of all show us why you are proud to be a Social Worker.
