About the Post:
Post 1 (Public Health Children and Young People)
You will work as part of a team to embed and improve public health outcomes for children, young people and families living in the Borough, across the Integrated Care System.
You will use your communication and interpersonal skills to influence strategic partnerships; building and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support the development and implementation of multi-agency action plans that tackle health inequalities and target children and young people in most need.
In particular, this includes working closely with education settings across Barnsley to support them in identifying public health priorities and informing the development and delivery of action plans to drive improvement in the health of their pupils.

Post 2 (Public Health Children and Young People: Adverse Childhood Experience)
You will work as part of a team to develop and deliver an Adverse Childhood Experience and Trauma Informed Strategy across BMBC and wider partners across the Borough, with the aim of Barnsley becoming an ACE Aware Place and leading to the implementation of trauma informed practices as a whole community approach.
You will use your communication and interpersonal skills to influence strategic partnerships; building and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support the development and implementation of multi-agency action plans that tackle health inequalities and target children and young people in most need.
