About the role

Seasonal Street Cleansing Operative are needed to keep all parts of the city clean for residents and visitors. This could be emptying bins, sweeping, weeding, litter picking or cleaning up the beach to name just tasks.

Fixed term for 6 months. Mainly shift work in city centre, beach and residential areas.

Three shift patterns are available.

Central AM 05:00 - 13:00 Rolling rota

Central PM 13:40 - 22:00 Rolling rota

East and West 6:00am – 14:00am ( Monday to Friday)

Training, equipment and uniform will be provided. Special qualifications are not required for these positions. We are looking for reliable, hard-working people with a passion and commitment for keeping the city centre, suburbs and the beach a safe place for everyone to enjoy.

Additional information

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.

Work Permits: This role does not meet the requirement for UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) Points-based Immigration System. Successful candidates will need to evidence that they have the Right to Work in the UK.
