Covid 19 Support Officer
The Adult Social Care Covid-19 Taskforce was established in April 2020 in response to the first wave of coronavirus and have since been providing vital support to our care homes and tother social care providers and their residents/customers in the Wokingham Borough.
Care homes and social care providers are provided with professional support to keep staff and residents as safe as possible. The dedicated team is there to assess needs and act swiftly to put support in place with a continual reviewing of the services needs.
This includes:
- Daily calls to seek information to identify any issues or concerns – which are then followed up with the relevant support
- Sharing information and guidance from central government and PHE
- Co-ordinating a multi-disciplinary meeting if there has been a significant covid-19 outbreak
Applications will be considered as they are received and the advert will be closed when all positions are successfully filled.
