The M365 Analyst role is a great opportunity within the IT & Digital service at Brighton and Hove City Council delivering Microsoft Productivity applications.
In this role you’ll be contributing to a multi-year programme of organisational modernisation and business change. As part of Orbis, a shared services partnership between Brighton and Hove City Council, East Sussex County Council, and Surrey County Council, you’ll have exposure and opportunities beyond the immediate Council, should you wish.
Orbis IT & Digital plays a key role in the modernisation of public services and supports the delivery of continuous improvements to quality and efficiency. We are ambitious and forward looking with skills in a range of enterprise technologies.
Normally, you'd be based in our modern open plan offices in the city centre but currently the team work remotely. In due course, travel to other sites may be needed from time to time to foster excellent working relations across the project team.

About the role
Job Details
The M365 Analyst will play a key role contributing to IT & Digital migrating to SharePoint Online, deploying Teams and enabling capability from across the Microsoft Productivity stack.
You will be working in a supportive delivery team of analysts and project resources who share a common goal in driving the adoption of M365 technologies. With a continuous cycle of release across M365 self-development is essential and you'll be provided a training package and opportunity to obtain Microsoft certification.
We are looking to hire an enthusiastic IT professional with exposure to the Microsoft 365 platform. The successful candidate will have the following skills and attributes:

Understanding the fundamentals of SharePoint Security

Experience of building solutions with out of the box 365 technologies

An understanding of the fundamentals of Content Management in SharePoint

A strong interest in self-development and continued learning

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
