We are looking for an additional resource on a six month fixed term contract to assist with the implementation of the Council’s new Corporate website. Working with our Digital Services Team based at the Civic Centre in the heart of Addlestone’s regenerated town centre, this role is key in contributing to the Council’s ambitious Digital Transformation Programme.
You will become part of a team committed to driving improvement through innovative ideas using the latest technology and supporting staff to access council software services.
The Temporary Web Content Officer role is critical to transforming how we work and deliver services to our customers. Working on the Council’s Digital Transformation Programme, this role will be pivotal in the migration and management of the Councils new website which will underpin a fundamental shift in our internal processes and how we interact with residents, businesses and visitors to the borough. You will play a leading role contributing towards the delivery of our customer and digital strategies, making it simpler and faster for people to access information or services online.
This is a role for an experienced web content officer and one you can make your own by demonstrating an aptitude for creating simple, intuitive online customer experiences.
You will be working in a fast-paced and demanding environment, so it is important that you are well organised and resilient; can remain calm, focussed and professional at all times.
This is a highly visible role in a dynamic transformation team working with stakeholders of all levels, so strong communications skills are key with an ability to communicate technical solutions to non-technical audiences.
