Full Time - 37 Hours per week, Fixed Term Contract - Maternity Cover (up to August 2021)
Salary: £26,772 to £28,606 per annum
Starting salary dependent on qualifications and experience
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Housing Needs Officer to join our team to provide maternity cover and build on our success with working towards the prevention of homelessness and implementing the new Housing Reduction Act for Rother.
The Housing Needs Officer plays a critical role in supporting the Local Authorities statutory enquiries and is responsible for providing clear advice to people with a complex and diverse range of housing issues. The ideal candidate will be a key player within the service to meet the requirements of the Housing Reduction Act.
The successful candidate will be a strong team player, who embraces change positively, and is prepared to work flexibly in accordance with the needs of the business. They will engage pro-actively with building relations with all stakeholders, including residents and partner agencies. They will also give advice and create housing plans for all clients approaching Rother for housing assistance.
