The ESCC Schools Finance Team, provides financial advice, guidance, support and training to schools and academies in and around East Sussex. Our busy, dynamic and friendly team are looking for a supportive, enthusiastic and constructive team member to join us leading and developing our valued service into the future.
This interesting and varied role will give you the opportunity to provide vital support and guidance to School Governors, Head Teachers, Bursars, Business Managers and other school staff.
You will take the lead on initiatives and service developments supporting schools to successfully manage their resources, coordinating and supporting team members to deliver a high quality service. Amongst other things this will involve managing and developing spreadsheet tools and efficient data transfers between schools and the local authority systems, so we really want to hear from you if you have strong IT and data skills.
The team is formally based in Lewes. Although we are currently working remotely, your role may, in time, involve travel to schools and academies in East Sussex and surrounding areas.
If you have strong IT skills, experience and knowledge of effective financial management, enjoy taking an innovative and proactive approach to challenges, have excellent communication and coaching skills and a real commitment to customer service, we would love to hear from you.
