The LGA is the national voice for local government. As a membership organisation, we support and represent almost 400 councils across England and Wales on the issues that matter most to them and to their communities.
The role
We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Internal Communications Adviser to join the Local Government Association (LGA)’s in house communications team.
This is an opportunity to shape an internal comms strategy for a fast-paced and influential organisation. You will have opportunities to work closely with colleagues across the LGA, including our senior staff and political members.
The requirements
You should have strong personal and organisational skills, an ability to build relationships in a complex political environment, an understanding of the main issues facing local government and a passion for delivering the best possible service internally.
You must have the right to work in the UK, the LGA are unfortunately unable to offer sponsorship visas. Evidence for the right to work in the UK will be requested at the interview stage.
