Your role in our journey
Procurement Officer – Environment & Transport
An analytical thinker, you’ll enjoy working with data and take responsibility for the analysis, interpretation and reporting on key performance indicators. From liaising with internal customers, suppliers and colleagues you’ll be help form effective collaborative working and commercial based outcomes.
As a Procurement Officer you’ll provide valuable assistance to a Category Manager for an allocated area of expenditure. Within your category you will support activity to deliver best and compliance working closely with internal customers to help them deliver their annual targets and plans.
What you’ll need
To join us, you’ll need to either have or be willing to achieve a professional Level 4 qualification in a relevant field. You will bring to the role a desire for continuous development and improvement and see this role as the first step in a career in procurement and commercial management. A strong administrator with the ability to develop effective working relationships you will assist the Category Manager in a wider range of commercial activities and projects.
