About this role
We have an exciting offer for someone to work with our Electoral Services and wider Resources team’s to help lead the planning and delivery of the May 2021 Elections to ensure that all of our electorate receives the best possible service when exercising their democratic rights.
We are looking for an experienced and committed Electoral Services Lead to work with our small, busy and committed Elections team and support our Returning Officer. You will have a delivered successful election’s in the past and ensured they comply with electoral legislation and the performance standards set by the Electoral Commission.
Experience of all aspects of electoral services, both electoral registration and elections and knowledge of electoral legislation and Express software.
Passionate communicator who can inspire, motivate and influence others in order to manage large events and in leading the team to deliver successfully the May 2021 elections.
Flexible and work additional hours including some evenings, weekends and bank holidays during elections and peak canvass periods, but working under pressure and to tight deadlines should not be unfamiliar to you.
