Community Safety Officer

Are you a motivated individual who would like the opportunity to contribute to community safety in Harlow? The post demands an individual who is able to work to a shift pattern, enjoys engaging with the community, positive about change and adapts rapidly to different ways of working.

The post holder will provide a proactive response to emerging crime trends and anti-social behaviour in local shopping centres in Harlow, the post holder will work in partnership and take a lead on problem solving using education or enforcement or both and work within the community and with partners to reduce crime, the fear of crime and anti-social behaviour.

Applicants must hold a full driving licence (or have other suitable means of transport) and be able to patrol local areas.

A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be undertaken for the successful candidate.
