We are looking for a Finance Section Head with strong technical skills that would enjoy applying them to a range of different projects and are looking to further their experience leading a small but fast-paced team where they can have a real impact.
The role is focussed on leading the closure of accounts for two authorities including liaising with the External Auditors to bring the audit to a satisfactory audit and we would expect that you would be able to hit the ground running with this. So, it is vital that you have recent experience of leading on local government closure of accounts. You will be leading a small team that works on other technical aspects of providing a financial service e.g. VAT, insurance, and treasury management.

The salary per annum is between £52,935 - £57,124 per annum plus a local Market Factor supplement of £5,000 and inner London fringe of £898.
