About the role

We are seeking to employ Qualified and Unqualified Nursery Practitioners to work on a casual, zero hours basis to cover for staff sickness and absences.  The Nursery is open 52 weeks per year.

The Nursery is part of a purpose built  Early Years Village offering high quality childcare and education for children from 3 months to 5 years for 51 weeks of the year. Our setting offers a free flow approach across the age phases where children are able to access the indoor and outdoor environments alongside structured learning experiences in small groups. We offer a range of activities including outdoor leaning, Balanceability and much more.

The successful candidate will have experience of working within an early years setting, and either be an unqualified practitioner or be qualified to NVQ level 3 or equivalent and be passionate about working with children.  The person appointed should be able to use their initiative in a variety of situations and be a good team member.

Robsack Wood is an exciting, exuberant and welcoming academy where children from 3 months to 11 years old flourish in a safe and stimulating environment. The academy has impressive facilities- including extensive grounds with a large grassed playing field, adjacent woodlands, garden areas and animal areas with chickens and ducks - to ensure pupils are able to learn in exceptional environments that promote creativity and motivation. It has a published admissions number of 60 and total capacity of 420 pupils. The academy hosts a nursery for children aged from 3 months.
