The market towns in Huntingdonshire are undergoing a significant programme of change. This comprises of service led work, projects (some of which are complex) and programmes. Some of the work streams are underway and established, others will need developing, including the establishment of a Business Improvement District in St. Neots
Following a strategic review undertaken by external consultants, the post of Business Programme Manager (Market Towns) has been created on a two-year funded fixed term basis. The Business Programme Manager will be responsible for managing our market town projects from inception to delivery and act as our lead on securing market town investment, helping to implement the ambitions of the market town strategy.
You will oversee and steer the projects, developing business cases to bring together the programmes that have been devised to bring economic enhancement to our town centres which include Huntingdon, St Neots, St Ives and Ramsey.
With experience of securing both co-funding and match-funding you will work with a number of partners both internally and externally to bring economic changes to our town centres.
We are seeking candidates with a good mix of demonstrable project management skills, the ability to write convincing and compelling business cases and a track record in securing project funding.
We offer flexible working and the ability to work from home but you must be commutable to our district and retain a visible presence with a number of stakeholders across our market towns.
