An exciting opportunity has arisen within in the Revenues team at Chelmsford City Council.
Working within the team that process the billing and collection of council tax, the role of the Revenues Assistant will involve providing vital administrative support to assist with the daily operations of the department.
The duties for this role will include updating and reviewing council tax accounts, dealing with direct debits, sorting and preparing outgoing mail and processing incoming post and emails.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, work alongside deadlines, demonstrate a commitment to customer care and possess sound IT skills, including an understanding of Word and Excel.
Please note that due to the nature of the work, this role is not suitable for homeworking, however our offices provide a COVID-19 secure workplace environment.
The successful applicant will be required to work 37 hours per week Monday to Friday.
