An exciting vacancy exists for a dedicate Social Worker within the North East Lincolnshire Council Fostering Service. The Service looks after children whom are placed in excess of 218 foster care households, which include family and friends. The successful applicant will be responsible for assessments of family and friends placements, assessments of potential foster carers. They will also be required to monitor and support fostering households, including holding annual household reviews. You also be involved in supporting the delivery of training to foster carers, kinship carers.
The successful applicant may also be required to complete court assessments, statements and represent the Local Authority within the court arena.
Knowledge of Fostering Service would be essential, and you will have post qualifying experience. We will offer an excellent package of bespoke training to ensure your professional development is maintained to a high standard. We offer the option of working using our compressed hour’s scheme.
