About the role

This is a full time 36 hour per week opportunity.


The Queens Walk Resource Centre provides a day service in the community for Adults with Learning disabilities and complex needs. We run an extensive day programme in our well-equipped centre and offer opportunities across the week for over 50 service users. The programme includes a range of group sessions to meet the assessed needs of individuals including hydrotherapy sessions, gardening groups, art and project work, sensory programmes to cookery and outreach work experiences.

About you

An opportunity has arisen for someone with the right experience to join our team as a Support Worker. Currently we are operating a service 8.30 - 4.30. There are early and late shifts between the hours of 8am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday.

We are looking for a motivated team player with good communication and interpersonal skills. You will be able to engage effectively with service users, providing them with support and opportunities to meet their assessed needs and potential. You will also be creative and will take an enthusiastic approach ensuring service users fully participate in the sessions and activities you facilitate whilst treating service users with dignity and respect.
