Set within green belt, off the M25, A1M and M1 the District includes a cathedral, historic city centre and charming villages. You will work as part of the Permits and Appeals team to ensure that car parking permits and appeals are handled in a fair, accurate and consistent manner and in compliance with the legislation, best practice and Council’s policies and procedures.  This is an exciting opportunity for you to gain the skills, knowledge and experience to take the next step in your career.  

 

Alongside this role, you will also be supported through a Business Administration Level 3 apprenticeship.  

 

The ideal candidate will be a strong team play with excellent communication and organisational skills. As a minimum, you will hold GCSE (or equivalent) grades A*-C (4-9) in Maths and English.  A keen willingness to learn and develop is essential.  We are looking for an apprentice who can deliver his/her responsibilities efficiently and with integrity and demonstrates a positive attitude.
