£37,548 - £41,502 Inclusive salary per year
Plus, up to 18.5% employer pension contribution

Set within green belt, off the M25, A1M and M1 the District includes a cathedral, historic city centre and charming villages. In this role, you will be the subject expert in parking enforcement, legislation and regulations and will contribute and work collaboratively with specialist teams to ensure compliance with the Council’s enforcement policies, protocols and the statutory requirements of the various government agencies.
There is a high-volume-varied caseload and you are expected to be able to prioritise cases, lead investigations and assess high priority accidents and complaints in a timely, consistent, proportionate and transparent and fair manner. This role will require to apply knowledge and best practices to mitigate any risks to the Council and in ensuring the health and wellbeing of residents and visitors to the district.
The ideal candidate should have experience of delivering controlled parking schemes and the legislative and technical knowledge that is necessary. High level stakeholder management skills and a focus on customer satisfaction is also a requirement. In addition, experience of building and developing productive and collaborative working relationships externally with partners, providers, Officers and Councillors’ would be an advantage.

We are seeking someone who can rise to these challenges and to represent the Council in a professional and ethical manner. If you possess excellent communication skills with high emotional intelligence and competent in researching and writing complex technical and legal reports, we would like to hear from you.
