About the role

The Governors of Etchingham C E School are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant Level 3, who is passionate about children and learning. We are a successful and oversubscribed Church of England Primary School situated in picturesque countryside in an area of outstanding natural beauty.

The post is for 30 hours per week including lunch time supervision. The working pattern will be for 5 days from 8:45am to 1:15pm & 1:45pm to 3:15pm.

We are looking for someone with confidence and expertise in supporting the learning of our pupils and who:

  • has experience of supporting learning in a primary school environment and has good literacy and mathematical skills
  • has high expectations of pupil behaviour, progress and attainment
  • will encourage and inspire our children to love learning and to be the best they can be
  • is committed to supporting the Christian ethos of the School
