Specialist (Level 1) Strategy and Commissioning

The People Commissioning Service is looking for a Specialist to join our Contracts and Commissioning Support Team.

The ideal candidate will have an interest in Adults and Children’s Services and be able to take a flexible approach to supporting our commissioning function for these service areas.

You will work closely with many different services within the Local Authority and be confident with communicating with external partners, including our commissioned services. With a good attention to detail and a proactive nature, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day contract management and contract monitoring activities, working alongside the other Specialists in the team.

You will play an important part in ensuring our processes run smoothly and that we hold accurate information in relation to our contractual arrangements, ensuring the right messages are communicated to our commissioners, our senior leadership teams and our commissioned providers.
