Arun Wellbeing has a vacancy for a FULL TIME Wellbeing INFORMATION OFFICER.
Fixed Term Contract expected to last for 12 months (maternity cover) or internal secondment expected to last for 12 months - please seek permission from yor manager prior to applying.
Scale/Salary: 4 ( £20,092 – 21,748 per annum)
Based at Arun Civic Centre, Littlehampton - Please note that, due to the current pandemic, it is likely this role will initially be based at home, working remotely.

Arun Wellbeing has an opportunity to provide maternity cover for a Wellbeing Information officer, working within a proactive and friendly team at Arun District Council. Our Wellbeing Information officer has the responsibility for creating and maintaining pages on the Arun Wellbeing website, keeping other information resources up to date such as Facebook and Twitter, being the first point of contact for enquiries from the public and health professionals, supporting the wider Wellbeing Team’s delivery of the Wellbeing Programme by providing administrative support including data entry, information leaflets, and editing of an online newsletters.
Arun Wellbeing has been commissioned by the West Sussex County Council Department of Public Health, to develop a prevention and wellbeing programme for adults of all ages. We have a particular focus on supporting behaviour change in people with increased risk of developing cardiovascular disease, stroke, diabetes type 2 and cancer through providing information, signposting and motivational support. As well as the core team of wellbeing advisers, the wider Arun Wellbeing team members offer physical activity sessions, fuel poverty advice and a family-based wellbeing programme.
