HIGHER LEVEL TEACHING ASSISTANT

 

32 hours 30 mins. per week, 8.30 – 3.30 pm (not negotiable)

 

Term time only-  44.26 weeks only but paid pro rata /split over 52 weeks

 

£14.91 - £15.45 per hour depending on experience & qualifications

We have a vacancy for 1 Higher Level Teaching Assistant, to join our new SEATSS (Specialist Education and Training Support Service). If you are an experienced teaching assistant with a record of excellent practice, if you are flexible, have good communication skills and are prepared to work across all age groups this may be the new challenge that you are looking for. 

 

You will be expected to manage a case load of schools across the L.A where you will be asked to work in collaboration with schools to model good practice, establish support programmes and provide high quality training for school staff. You will require a sound knowledge of SEN practice and procedures and excellent written communication skills.

 

This is an exciting and innovative role that will suit highly experienced and successful teaching assistants.
