We are looking for an experienced and motivated litigation lawyer to join our Litigation team at Harlow Council.
The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience of conducing civil and/or criminal litigation in the County Court and /or Magistrates Court, be able to work on his/her own initiative and give advice on a wide range of legal issues. Extensive experience of housing litigation would be an advantage. This includes but not limited to: housing disrepair, homelessness matters, possession proceedings, anti-social behaviour and civil injunctions. A good working knowledge of general litigation, regulatory, licensing, environmental related law and commercial and residential property litigation would also be an advantage combined with a flexible, ‘can-do’ attitude and motivation for learning new areas of Local Government Law.
