Temporary Contract until 31 March 2021

We are looking for an innovative Communications and Marketing Officer to play a key role in the work we are doing to help our high streets reopen through the Reopening the Highstreets Safely programme.

Working within our busy Communications and Marketing team, you will work alongside the Economic Development Team, as well as town centre partnership groups and local businesses to promote our high streets.

You will create effective campaigns targeted at a number of audiences including businesses, local residents and visitors to Wyre with a view to boosting our high streets – Fleetwood, Cleveleys, Poulton and Garstang.

You will also work directly with businesses, promoting latest guidance and COVID secure measures and sharing best practice.

We are looking for someone with strong digital communication skills, who is experienced in using all forms of media channels and is confident in copywriting and creating engaging content. You will have experience in a marketing environment as well as a commercial outlook towards your work. 

You will be based at the Civic Centre in Poulton, combined with working from home as Government guidance dictates.
