Social Worker - Adults

An exciting opportunity has arisen for temporary social workers for adult services to assist with extra work pressures.

The teams responds to requests for assessments of need relating to adults over the age of 18 years who appear to have a need for care and support for a variety of reasons. The posts will be working alongside our First Contact team.

The successful candidate will be able manage a caseload of clients and will work within legislative frameworks to deliver an effective service to our customers. Organisational and problem-solving skills are therefore essential.

This post is open to both experienced and Newly Qualified Social Workers (NQSWs). NQSWs will be supported to complete the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment.

Social Workers who are practicing as an authorised Approved Mental Health Professional will receive an AMHP allowance of £3,000 per annum, pro-rata to hours worked.
