Your insight-led plans and campaigns with SMART objectives will deliver results the town centre and events.
You’ll be confident in creating and delivering digital marketing strategies, maximising the benefits of platforms such as Google My Business, TripAdvisor and Google Ads. You’ll be a natural storyteller. Your work will look and sound great and be able to stand out in a crowded market of content competing for attention.
You’ll know how to liaise with local and national media, and you’ll be skilled at spotting opportunities to promote both the council and the place.
Managing priorities and multiple projects effectively will be key, and you’ll need to be politically astute and understand how your work and outputs affect all of our stakeholders.
COVID-19 will clearly be with us for the foreseeable future, and this will impact your work too. Protecting and reassuring our communities, while promoting our town centre and the local economy will be an absolute priority going forward.
Degree-educated (or equivalent) in a marketing/communications related discipline, you already have the knowledge skills to drive forward this programme of work. We’re a tight team, working in a fast-paced environment, bursting with ideas and enthusiasm. With your previous experience in communications and marketing roles, you’ll be an important part of it.
