About the role

The college is seeking to appoint a passionate, dynamic teacher of Drama and Dance. The successful candidate will have expertise teaching Drama across KS3, KS4 and KS5, specifically the ability to teach GCSE Drama (currently AQA) and the Edexcel Pearson BTEC Performing Arts Drama courses at KS5. Some experience or knowledge of the equivalent Production Arts (Stage Management) courses at KS5 would be useful, as would knowledge of the lighting and sound pathways for GCSE Drama. The successful candidate will only need to have experience teaching KS3 Dance.

Candidates should be self-motivated and have the drive to work in an exciting and innovative environment and should be ready to contribute creatively to the development of a progressive department.  There should be a strong commitment to a busy schedule of Drama and Dance and Performing Arts events and productions, as well as being responsive and flexible to curriculum developments.
