About the role

The children, staff and governors of Ore Village Primary Academy are looking for a Midday Supervisory Assistant to join our team supervising pupils at lunch.

Ore Village Primary Academy is a two-form entry primary school based in Ore, Hastings. It is a happy, caring and increasingly successful school, which is part of The Kemnal Academies Trust. As part of the TKAT network, we are committed to making sure that every child has access to an excellent education and real choices in life.

We have 330 pupils aged between 3 and 11. Children eat in the main hall in their year group bubbles then have indoor or outdoor play. The role involves supervising pupils indoors and outdoors and encouraging play activities, helping pupils to get lunch or serving them lunch depending on the year group and keeping the dining hall tidy by clearing used trays and plates and mopping spillages from tables and floors.

The role is term-time only.   The hours are 12.00 - 1.20, Monday to Friday.
