Job Title: Fleet Manager - Hertfordshire Fire & Rescue Service
Location: Hertford
Starting Salary: £32,234 pa progressing to £34,728 pa
Hours: Full Time
Contract: Permanent

About you:
*Knowledge & understanding of Fire Services Act 2004, Health and Safety at Work Act and Road Traffic Law
*Excellent communications skills and work on own initiative
*Work collaboratively and manage staff
*Good understanding of budgets and financing
*Fleet Management Qualification preferred

*Manage the provision of a varied fleet of Fire Service Appliances, Specialist Response vehicles and cars
*Manage the Transport Budget for the Technical Services & daily activity of the team
*Deal with enquiries from key stakeholders & be the liaison officer for the County
