About the role
Reporting to the Practice Manager, an opportunity has arisen for a Mobility Assessment Officer to join The Blue Badge Team.
This position requires a heath professional qualification as you will be carrying out assessments in order to determine the eligibility of applicants who have applied for a Disabled Parking Badge. This will include those with mobility issues and also Hidden Disabilities
All assessments will be carried out in line with the Department for Transport eligibility criteria, you will also work closely with colleagues within the team. Assessments are carried out both face to face and telephone assessments, at the current time telephone assessments only are being carried out.
This position will require DBS check.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
