JGP are looking for an enthusiastic Customer Support & Research Assistant to give both our clients and candidates the best possible experience of our services. This is a great chance to gain an in-depth knowledge of public sector and not-for-profit recruitment, as well as to help job seekers find their next position. You’ll also become an expert in how recruitment technology is used, supporting our customers with their queries about our system.
This job is perfect for someone looking to make the role their own, with the opportunity for personal development in resourcing, recruitment and customer support. No previous experience is required, but if you’re eager to learn and have strong customer service skills, we want to hear from you.
You’ll be delivering frontline support to our candidates and clients, managing the telephone and email support to respond to both candidate and client queries. Using your strong interpersonal and communication skills, you’ll provide them with the best possible experience, using our customer service platform, Zendesk.
As well as becoming an expert on our recruitment system (ATS), you’ll play a leading role in delivering client products, such as uploading job adverts and creating display ads, ensuring they are processed on time and to a high standard.
Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to get involved with our resourcing activities, performing candidate research as part of client recruitment campaigns. You’ll also support the team in delivering longlist material and help attract candidates to go on to apply for the role.
We’ll expect you to have strong communication skills so you can accurately articulate any support given over the phone or via email. Additionally, you’ll need to be highly organised to manage varying workloads across the various tasks you will be set.
