As a HR Business Partner you will you take the lead role in the design, implantation and delivery of all HR practice changes related to the Council's COVID response and will act as first point of contact for all COVID related HR queries.
You will assist Managers with the transition into New Ways of Working (NWOW), implementing and advising on policies and leading action plans, as well as organisational development activities and developing and delivering HR related training.
It is essential that you have proven experience of working in a HR environment, advising managers on complex case work and an up to date understanding of employment legislation, policies, practices and procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential as you will need to build strong business relationships with internal stakeholders and represent HR at internal meetings. We're looking for somebody who will be able to work well under pressure, to tight and changing deadlines and is able to champion change with a resilient and positive approach.
You will work remotely, but must be able to attend our Ormskirk or Skelmersdale offices for meetings when appropriate.
