The PA & Business Support Team provides support across Surrey County Council’s Community Protection Group, which is responsible for key services across the county including: Fire & Rescue, Trading Standards and Emergency Planning.
We are looking to recruit to the position of PA and Project Support Officer to support the Senior Leadership Team of Surrey Fire and Rescue. This role forms part of a job share post, covering Thursday and Friday for 14.40 hours per week.
The salary is £11,056 per annum pro-rata to £27,641. Your main work base location is currently Surrey Fire & Rescue Headquarters, 70 Wray Park Road, Reigate. However our service will be relocating to Woodhatch, Cockshot Hill in Reigate in early 2021. Agile and flexible working is welcomed and supported; we care about the job you do, not where you do it!
In this varied role you will be providing PA support, with day to day tasks that will include (but not limited to) inbox and diary management for the Senior Leadership Team, prioritising appointments, responding to and resolving enquiries, minute taking and record keeping, organising events, high quality research and analysis, preparing reports and presentations as well as administration and project support when required.
Previous experience of providing high level PA support is essential. You will have a proven track record of working successfully to deliver complex tasks through multiple strands of work - this position will require strong planning and organisational skills.
