Job Title: Business Support Officer
Salary Range:£ 27,741 - £30,451
Hours: 37 hours per week
We are seeking a highly competent and flexible Business Support Officer to join our team – helping us deliver Hertfordshire’s vision as a “County of Opportunity” and respond to our ever-changing environment.
In the Business Support and Improvement team, we have a very diverse portfolio including providing Environment and Infrastructure Board support, arranging roadshows and inductions, providing project support and acting as the corporate contact and interface for areas such as finance, workforce, risk, performance, Business Continuity Planning and transformation projects.
The Environment and Infrastructure department touches the lives of everyone who lives in, works in and visits Hertfordshire. The department works closely with partners to deliver services such as Waste Management, Highways, Transport and Development Management to ensure the wellbeing of our residents and businesses.
This role will appeal to you if you thrive on managing multiple projects and stakeholders, are resilient, have a proven ability to manage and direct complex activity, and can confidently, clearly and effectively communicate to a wide range of stakeholders.
If you’re considering this role, you will:
- Have a degree or professional qualification, and/or relevant experience in a large organisation and a proven ability to manage business support processes;
- Have excellent Microsoft Office skills and be able to evidence successful negotiating and influencing skills to work collaboratively in a team environment.
